At Egoin we are specialist designers, manufacturers and installers of offsite timber construction systems.
A family business established in 1990 as a traditional timber frame company, in 1995 the company changed its business model to become an offsite fabrication business of modern, engineered structural systems. Since then, Egoin has been in constant evolution, upgrading the design and manufacturing processes incorporating the latest technology
and working close with technical research institutions.
The acquisition of a former glulam factory to upgrade it into a 21st century sawmill and a new production line of Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) panels and glulam beams has put on the vanguard of the Timber Construction Sector in Europe. Nowadays Egoin counts with more than 60 staff and a production capacity of 20.000 m3 of timber per year.
Since 2013 Egoin has successfully operated in the United Kingdom
building award winning residential, educational and commercial projects.
In the last 4 years, Egoin has consolidated its position in the UK mass timber construction sector
to the point of winning 5 National RIBA Awards
and having two projects out of six in the shortlist to the 2017 RIBA Stirling Prize.
